The Mermaids Lunchbox Launch Party

18th March 2016, Lights Of Soho

London, England: Bompas & Parr and Goldie Rox have worked together to combine bioluminescent algae, also know as ‘living light’, with solid gold and silver, to create a world first in decorative jewellery.

Bompas & Parr and Goldie Rox have collaborated to dreamed up an exclusive jewellery piece that marries bioluminescent algae, found in the far reaches of the world, with the organic shapes found in Goldie Rox’s latest collection ‘The Mermaid’s Lunchbox’.  Together they have designed a delicate glass orb that emits an eery glow when gently agitated.  Visible only in the dark, wearers can set the algae aglow with a phosphorescent shimmer.

‘The Mermaid’s Lunchbox’ is centered around a theme of undersea opulence and see’s sea urchins, stunning polished prawns, clams on silk, swirling roe and a regal crab formed by solid gold and silver.
